Alumina ceramic properties:
1.High hardness
Alumina ceramics have extremely high hardness, typically between 9 and 9.5, which is close to the top of the Mohs scale and second only to diamond.
2.Good wear resistance
Due to the high hardness and density, it has excellent wear resistance. In a variety of friction, abrasion and grinding environments, alumina ceramics are able to maintain their integrity and smooth surface for a long period of time, resisting abrasion and surface scratching. Therefore, alumina ceramics are often used to make wear-resistant parts such as ceramic abrasive and ceramic bearings to improve the durability and performance of products.

3.Good mechanical strength
In addition to hardness and wear resistance, alumina ceramics also have excellent mechanical strength. Its flexural strength is usually between 200 and 500MPa, and it can withstand large external forces and is not easy to break.
Application:
Semiconductor industry:
High-purity alumina has become an indispensable material in semiconductor manufacturing due to its excellent insulation, heat resistance, and chemical stability. With the continuous progress of semiconductor technology and the expansion of market size, the demand for high-purity alumina semiconductor ceramics will also continue to grow. Especially in integrated circuit manufacturing, high-purity alumina has broad application prospects as gate oxide, substrate material and packaging material.
