1.Thermal expansion performance
Low coefficient of thermal expansion is its advantage, and the coefficient of thermal expansion of cordierite ceramics is generally 1.5×106 °C-1~2.0×106 °C-1 (25 °C~800 °C). Whether used as a catalyst carrier, high-temperature kiln furniture, or as an electronic packaging material, it needs to have good thermal shock resistance and low thermal expansion coefficient.
2.Mechanical properties
In fields with high thermal shock resistance, such as high-temperature kiln furniture, exhaust gas purifiers, and melt filters, it is necessary to have high mechanical strength in addition to meeting the low coefficient of thermal expansion.
